Our Class Programs
All our classes are EMI-English Language Medium Immersion and use
National Geographic texts-the most beautiful, eye catching text on the market. They are produced by world renowned educators focusing on student centered lessons and catering to all aspects of language learning-listening, speaking, reading and writing.
These courses provide online practice to do at home, to ensure top student outcomes. AND they are very fun and easy for young learners to use.
Our testing and assessment consist of both in school and supporting Eiken, TOEIC, TOEFL and other international examinations.
Here at Hamamatsu International School:
All our class levels are tailor-designed to meet the needs of students who hold a native or near native level of English corresponding to their age.
Students are assessed and assigned an appropriate class level. We offer a comprehensive testing and assessment program, which includes in-school assessments and support for international exams such as Eiken, TOEIC, TOEFL, and others.
Our class levels are customized to match students' English proficiency based on their age. The number of classes may vary depending on the number of students.

All levels from Grades 1-2 and above
These levels work toward an oral project and a written project which are presented as a culmination of each unit. Students encourage and support each other in these endeavours.
Teachers are hands-on, making sure to help each individual student achieve their goals. It is a very enjoyable and satisfying experience.
Even very shy students become very accustomed to speaking and presenting in both groups and individually. It’s an overseas experience every week, without having to leave Japan. For those who have returned, it’s a great continuation of their experience overseas.
We invite you to come and see for yourself.
